Rhythmic Power

RHYTHMIC POWER is three-day workshop targeted to youth aged between 12 and 25 in areas at risk of juvenile delinquency and other behavioural problems.

RHYTHMIC POWER is a full immersion into rhythm born from your body or from daily objects and vocal improvisations combined to dance.

Inspired by the work of Stomp (a percussion group, originating in Brighton, UK that uses the body and ordinary objects to create a physical theatre performance) and by the choreography of the contemporary dancer Hervé Diasnais, participants will be exposed to different exercises to find new sounds and rhythms, acrobatic exercises to explore the limits of their bodies, while working in a group. The workshop ends with a performance to show to casual public on the roads.
